Every time I trek to Adichilthotti, the Muthuvar village tucked inside Edamalayar valley, to reach the women’s group, I am reminded of how a natural landscape is in fact a signature of its people. People like us who inhabit places and leave their trails.
It is because the forest people lead low carbon footprint lives, in minimum conflict with nature, that you and I have these pristine forests to behold and experience the magic of.
