Honey from Stingless Bees

Cheruthen or Dammer bee honey is famed for its healing properties and has a nuanced flavour with sourness dominating. Indigenous people collect honey from dammer bee/ stingless bee cavities in the forest in a regulated manner. This batch of honey comes from the Chinnar Marayur rain-shadow region in the Western Ghats.
