The aromatic roots of Naruneendi are a coolant and used in traditional medicine. This syrup recipe uses wild ginger that grows abundant in Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary. Best had in summers with lemon juice or soda.
Made in small batches by indigenous women in central Western Ghats, Kerala.
Ingredients: Hemidesmus indicus roots, Wild ginger, Unrefined sugar
