Macramé & crochet

Young Kadar women in Anapantham village have been trained in tailoring and macramé skills. 

They spend a large part of the summer months in the forest, gathering forest produce, among them seeds from the forest floor. These find their way into their knitted and crocheted animal motifs, seed jewellery that you might consider a souvenir from the forest souvenirs.
