Partner Profile – Dr. Sreeja KG
Sreeja’s research focuses on the transformation of tropical river basins, livelihoods and resource use. She has expertise in impact assessments of climate change and direct human interventions on diverse tropical agricultural systems. She was the INTACH Climate change and Heritage fellow, 2020.
She is currently Research Lead with ‘EQUINOCT – Community Sourced Modelling Solutions’, working to address the challenges of climate change in the tropics through community based research and action initiatives. She holds a Masters in Agricultural Economics (ICAR), and a PhD in Agricultural Systems Management from the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. She was a post-doctoral Fellow in climate change impact assessment at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India.
